Weekend Highlights – August 13, 2022

This last Saturday was jam packed with events all across the county; from Wilder, Silver Grove, and Bellevue! And luckily, Campbell Media was there to cover it all for you.

Wilder Touch A Truck – 2022

First up was the Wilder Touch A Truck event. This event is held once a year where businesses and other partners are asked to come in and showcase their trucks or other large vehicles. It gives kids the opportunity to see the equipment that they see out in the streets up close, and talk to the people who operate it to see how the vehicles work.

Silver Grove 1869 Vintage Baseball Game / Home Run Derby

Held at the Big Train Field at Chief Sayers Park, Silver Grove hosted a Home Run Derby (opened for the public to participate in) and put on a 1869 Vintage Baseball Game! Watch this highlight reel of both those events, including a special announcement from Mayor Neal Bedel.

Bellevue Second Saturday Concert Series: Scott Sprague and Friends

Part of their summer monthly event, the Bellevue Second Saturday Concert Series, Bellevue had Scott Sprague and Friends come visit the Bellevue Beach Park for the evening. Enjoy over two hours of music with a variety of genres and musicians!
